The liqueur is made from dry fig fruits which are macerated in lozovača (grape rakia) together with desalted demineralised Adriatic sea. The process of maceration lasted for 10 months. The fig liqueur has a rich and complex taste and a complete balance between taste and scent has been achieved. The richness of the extract gained by maceration of the dry fig fruit gives its taste that very special note. The smell has a strong resemblance to dry fig fruit.
