“Discovering the Beauty and Flavor of Our Vineyards”
Fiolić wines come from seven hectares of vineyards under long-term lease, located in the area of Vukšić, Stankovci and Smilčić near Zadar. The soil in the vineyards is limestone-based sandstone that provides excellent drainage, resulting in high minerality in wine. Such soils are somewhat different from the soils of Ravni Kotari. Sandstone is characterized by excellent drainage, and the roots in such soil penetrate deep into the interior in search of water and consequently collect a lot of minerals.

Through the annual cycles, our vineyards breathe with nature, harmoniously blending with its rhythms. In spring, young shoots promise abundance, while summer days melt in the sun, nourishing the grapes with ripening. Autumn brings the colorful spectacle of harvest, when the vineyard transforms into a vibrant place of joy and togetherness.
For us, the vineyard is not just a place to work, but also a place to meet. It is where people who share a passion for wine and the land come together, exchanging stories and experiences as they harvest the fruits of their labor. Each vine carries a unique story waiting to be told.

The climate that characterizes the area of our vineyards is a combination of Mediterranean climate with a pronounced influence of the Velebit mountain, which brings night cooling and thus helps to preserve the freshness and aroma of the grapes.
